Thank you

Can I just say Thank You?

Thank you all for the comfort of your comments on my last post.

I was made peaceful and the terrible storm inside of me was quieted by the gentle and sure knowledge that so many of you do understand.

And even for those who've never experienced loss like that, you understand too.

I find that that's the beauty of the greater Body of Christ.

I have friends from here to Indiana to Illinois to Texas and everywhere in between.  And I'm so thankful for the Body.

Thanks, you guys, for coming out in droves to offer me your virtual hugs and your words of support, encouragement and all of your myriad ways of just intuitively knowing what I needed that day.  And still need.  And it still evens me out to read all of your words again.

So.

Thank You.

I love blogging and bloggers for this very reason.

Sometimes, the people who really understand you the best are ones you have never met in real life!

I don't have many people in real life who understand the pain of the loss of a child...but I have tons and tons of blogger buddies that are spread far and near that sure do.

And, on those days when things are really hard, I like to look back too at all of the encouragement those people offer. They understand--you know they do--and it just has a way of lifting your soul, you know?

Love you friend. Glad you are feeling better.

Leanne,

Thank you for the sweet words on my blog. So kind. Life is so full of valleys and I'm so sorry for the depths that you've experienced. We have lost a child to miscarriage and just a year ago lost our 15 month old nephew. Life is hard. I don't know how one makes it without the Lord. I'm so thankful He can handle our honest emotions and brokenness.

Profoundly sorry for the loss you've experienced. I long for the day when 'loss' will be no more.

And I'm so, so glad you stopped by. You are precious. I look forward to getting to know you and checking out the blog!

{And we do love that baby girl!}
Much love, K
