Followers!

My stars!

I actually have TWO followers!!

It's actually quite gladdening to have followers.

So this post is a nod to those two out there who follow my blog.

Thanks for caring about what I write.

Even if you're lurkers, it still made me smile to see that I had two of you out there!

In other news....

I'm working on posting more often....I'm working on balancing this need to blog with the rest of my life that needs to be attended to first.

And oh, I'm working on remembering that I set out to make bread this afternoon, and the start is still on my counter!

See what happens? Forgetting to do that moreimportantthing because I'm on the computer??

Do you have trouble with this too??

Well, I'd be a follower too but I'm not sure how to unless you have that widget in your sidebar???

Now you have 3. I didn't realize I wasn't a follower. I think you would have a lot more if you would put the widget in your sidebar. :P I didn't know how to add you until just now when I figured it out. Laura- Just go to your profile and under the "Blogs I Follow" part you should be able to click add and add the URL. I hope that helps. :P

Now you have 4! If you add the follower widget you'll probably get more otherwise it's a matter of copying & pasting your url into the add to following section of the dashboard.

Here's the sweet potato recipe :) I usually use about 2-7 potatoes for a 9x13 pan. Peel and boil with a couple teaspoons of salt until tender. Drain water off and I use a hand masher. add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar or less, 1/2 c. milk, 1 tsp vanilla. mix and pour in pan. Next mix the topping and sprinkle on top, 1c. brown sugar, 1 c. flour, 1 stick butter, 1c. chopped pecans. I put all this in a food processor and hit the button a few times :) sprinkle on top and bake 350* for 25 min or so until topping is slightly browned and feels a bit crunchy to touch. Make sure and bake UNCOVERED! This is almost like a dessert but we use it for a side dish. Thanks for asking and enjoy!!!
