Sunday Scripture

"God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore
     we will not fear
     even though the mountains
     be carried
into the midst of the sea.
Though its waters
     roar and be troubled,
     though the mountains shake
     with its swelling.
Be still
and know that I am God.
     I will be exalted
     among the nations;
     I will be exalted
     in the earth.
The Lord of hosts
     is with us.
     The God of Jacob
     is our refuge."  Psalm 46: 1-3, 10-11

Thank you Leanne for posting this passage - it spoke to my heart tonight. I've been troubled lately & I just need the reminder to be still & wait on the Lord!

<3 it!

My favorite passages are ones that refer to the Lord as our refuge. I'm not sure why but that word just speaks to my heart.

Thanks for posting this!
